Instructional Technology Advisory
The mission of the Instructional Technology Advisory Committee (ITAC) is to advise the TLTC, Library and CTS in all matters relating to the integration of technology throughout the curriculum, and to support the adoption of innovative, effective and student-centered instructional approaches.
The scope of these advisory efforts should include:
- Assessment of the impacts of digital tools and services on student learning outcomes.
- Assistance in planning and promoting faculty development programming for the use of instructional tools and new pedagogical approaches.
- Advice on evaluation and adoption of new services, hardware and software throughout the curriculum to support teaching and learning.
- Communication about new and existing instructional technology tools and services.
- Advice on the development and of physical and virtual learning spaces to support learning across the curriculum.
- Conduct Request for Proposals (RFP) on annual basis, conduct assessment of prior years’ approved and funded proposals.
- As a Shared Governance Subcommittee of the Purchase College Senate, submit annual activity reports, updates, and presentations to the College Senate and other bodies per Senate bylaws.
