Student Senate
The Student Senate is the primary legislative body within the PSGA. The Senate is tasked to represent the entire student body, legislate on bylaws, regulations, and procedures of the PSGA, and to advocate on behalf of the entire student body. The senate structure has the following positions:
- Chair of Senate
- Senate Secretary
- Student Senators for the School of the Arts
- Student Senators for the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences
- Student Senators that represent both the residential and commuter student populations
- A Student Senator to represent the department of Athletics
Members of the Senate also oversee three student ran committees that include:
- Public Art
- Green Fee
- Student Diversity
Senate meetings are open to the student body and occur every Wednesday at 12:30 PM in the President’s Conference Room.
