Deadlines
Fall 2024 Housing Deposits are now open for students to submit payment.
Continuing students will need to submit a deposit and complete the license agreement by March 15th to take part in the room selection process.
Late deposits will be accepted but students will not take part in the room selection process. Housing would be assigned at a later date and based on availability.
All deposits can be paid online through your MyHeliotrope account.
Class Registration Deadline:
Returning campus residents must:
Be enrolled for 8 or more credits for the fall 2024 semester by July 17th (Fall) or January 10, 2025 (Spring) and for 12 or more credits by the start of the semester.
Continuing students who are not registered for classes by these dates will lose their fall housing assignment and will NOT be refunded their housing deposit.

Housing Cancellation and Deadlines:
As a reminder, the Purchase College Housing License is a 9-month financial commitment for the full academic year, both Fall and Spring terms and can only be cancelled in accordance with the terms specified within the license agreement.
As a reminder, the date to withdraw fall deposits from campus housing without any financial liability is prior to May 1, 2024. Housing cancellations after May 1, 2024 result in a forfeiture of the housing deposit.
As a reminder, the date to withdraw spring 2024 deposits from campus housing without any financial liability is prior to January 1, 2025. Housing cancellations after January 1, 2025 result in a forfeiture of the housing deposit.
Withdrawing from Campus Housing Deadlines and Costs:
Please note residents are responsible for payment of the following in relation to their fall 2024 housing costs.
Prior to August 22nd - 0% of housing cost for the semester.
August 23rd - September 20th - 50% of the housing cost for the semester.
After September 20th - 100% of the housing cost for the semester.
Please note residents are responsible for payment of the following in relation to their spring 2025 housing costs.
December 1st, 2024- Students in fall housing must notify the office they are not returning to avoid a contract breakage fee.
Prior to January 21st - 0% of housing cost for the semester.
January 22nd - February 21st - 50% of the housing cost for the semester.
After February 22nd - 100% of the housing cost for the semester.
Residents will be considered as a no show if they do not report to on campus housing and/or contact Residential and Student Life by September 6th (Fall) or February 6th (Spring). A no show will incur a penalty fee of $250.00 in addition to forfeiting the housing deposit.
