Displaying Dynamic Content
Widgets can be used to display a variety of different content types in your page. Typical examples of a widgets would be: a widget that displays stories, events, announcements, or FAQ’s. Widgets are commonly used to locate, filter, and display dynamic content created in the back-end dashboard.
Get Started
To get started, navigate to the back end dashboard and enter or upload your content into the appropriate content type area, such as stories, events, galleries, forms, files, etc.
Then select Go To Site and navigate to the page where you would like the content to appear.
Select Edit Page and then use the Widget Menu (the red + sign) to drop the widget onto the page.
The widget is essentially a piece of software that retrieves the content you entered into the back end. Widgets are SEO-friendly since they allow content to be shared without duplication. Duplicating content negatively affects our SEO ratings.
