Recognition Societies
Every donor to Purchase College, the Neuberger Museum of Art, and The Performing Arts Center has helped make our past successes possible and paves the way to an even brighter tomorrow.
Through sustained leadership contributions, legacies left with estate gifts, and annual leadership gifts, donors are vital to our success. The Purchase College Foundation’s recognition societies honor and thank those who provide this generous support.
Leadership Circle
The Leadership Circle is a special recognition society of supporters who have made a generous leadership gift of $1,000 or more to any fund at the College, the Neuberger Museum of Art, or The Performing Arts Center. Whether their gifts are in support of talented dancers or the next generation of civic leaders, Leadership Circle members will have an opportunity to witness the impact of their generosity on students across all Purchase College programs.
During 2020-2021, its first year after being relaunched, the Leadership Circle engaged more than 60 donors and received close to $140,000 in generous contributions from alumni, friends, faculty, and staff.
The Leadership Circle is led by a dedicated committee of alumni including Kevin Collymore ’10, Rafal Gawlowski ’97, Charmaine Portis ’91, Jeffrey Putman ’96, Mandy Kirschner Salva ’99, David Settanni ’09, and Tara Ashley Smith ’99.
Funds Named in Perpetuity
Purchase College Foundation acknowledges with keen gratitude the generosity of many friends who have established funds with a minimum gift of $50,000. These leadership gifts, which bear the names of the donors in perpetuity, support visiting artists and scholars, scientific and instructional equipment, scholarships, academic performances and exhibitions, campus beautification, the Neuberger Museum of Art, and The Performing Arts Center.
President’s Club Founding Charter Members
Founded in 1982, The President’s Club is comprised of community leaders who are dedicated to fostering the highest standards of excellence at the college.
