Centers, Departments, and Offices
Use the full name of the center, department, or office in running text, and use the lowercased center, department, or office in the second references. Do not include a capitalized The at the beginning of a name, unless it begins a sentence.
When using an acronym or initialism in second references, include it in parentheses after the first reference: Campus Technology Services (CTS) supports a variety of services for faculty and students. Most CTS computer labs are open from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 p.m.
