Campus Buildings and Rooms
Use the full name of building in running text, and use the lowercased building, campus center, center, museum, residence apartments, or residence hall in second references. Do not include a capitalized The at the beginning of a name, unless it begins a sentence.
When using an acronym or initialism in second references, include it in parentheses after the first reference: Dining facilities and lounges in Campus Center North (CCN) include the Food Court, Clearview Faculty/Staff Lounge, and Commuter Lounge. The More Card Office and the Parking and Transportation Office are also located in CCN.
See Acronyms and Initialisms and Ampersands under General Style Preferences for related information.
