Alumni Weekend 2025 is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to welcome you back home to Purchase College on May 2-3! Registration is now open, and we’ve planned a fantastic lineup of events—including our first-ever Alumni Showcase!
While we have extra-special celebrations for reunion-year classes, all alumni are invited to join in the fun at signature events like the Night of Reunions, All-Alumni Picnic, Alumni Showcase, and much more. Alumni Weekend is for everyone … and families are encouraged on Saturday!
As always, all campus programs and receptions remain free, but this year, we’re introducing ticketed registration for Friday’s Night of Reunions (including a buffet dinner and bar) and Saturday’s All-Alumni Picnic (including a luncheon buffet, beer, wine, and soft beverages). Children 17 and under attend Saturday’s picnic for free! If you’d prefer other dining options, you’ll find the Dining Hall, The Hub, and Starbucks open throughout the weekend.
We know change can be surprising, and the decision to introduce a registration fee for these catered events wasn’t made lightly. In recent years, a growing number of no-shows have made it harder to plan and allocate resources. But here’s the silver lining: we’ve partnered with students and staff to collect and redistribute any unused food through the campus Food Recovery Network, ensuring that nothing goes to waste.
The Alumni Weekend Planning Committee and the PCAA Board thoughtfully supported this change so we can continue hosting meaningful alumni experiences. And in the spirit of keeping things fresh, these conversations led to the launch of the Alumni Showcase—a brand-new, free event celebrating alumni contributions across industries.
This weekend is about more than events—it’s about creativity, community, and connection, the very essence of Purchase. Whether you spent late nights in the studio, poured your heart into a senior project, danced at Culture Shock, or just kicked back at The Stood, this is your chance to reconnect, rediscover, and make new memories.
