Tuition and financial aid are a big part of this important decision.
We try to keep Purchase affordable and accessible to all, whether you’re coming from down the road or across the globe. Our Financial Aid Office is experienced and trained to handle your questions and unique situations. Review the costs of attendance below and when you’re ready to enroll, we’ll be here to guide you through the process of paying for school. Purchase College also awards scholarships based on academic achievement, talent, and program of study.
- Rates contained on this page are subject to change without notice pending New York State, SUNY or College Board of Trustee action.
- The College has instituted a moratorium on broad-based fees and course fees (As of Fall 2017: Does not include room rates, meal plans or the Activity Fee as it is a fee that is decided upon by the student government.)

Additional Fees:
- One-Time Orientation Fee (charged during your first matriculated semester at Purchase). $210 for Freshman, $175 Transfers and $77 for Graduate students.
- One-time ID Fee of $25.00 charged in the first semester for all students who are new to Purchase College.
- Any course-related fees
- Music students have a mandatory charge of $37.00 per semester for a Performance Lab Fee. Music students who are registered for Private Lesson(s) and/or Master Classes are charged $1,219.87 per course.
