Latin America connects with you and your life in ways far more complex and interesting than you might imagine. There’s music and food, of course. But there is also history, culture, sports … and politics.
The Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx studies program offers one of the most flexible, interesting, and customizable majors and minors you can pursue at Purchase. Truly interdisciplinary, Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx studies allows you to create a rich, powerful, and ultimately an extremely practical educational experience.
The $150,000 grant by the National Endowment for the Humanities will support language, literature, and history with a focus on Spanish heritage speakers.
