In today’s world of endless distractions, perpetual bombardment of media, overwhelming noise, and confusion, many have reached a tipping point.

There is an alternative.

The Contemplative Studies minor is dedicated to integrating the art and science of contemplative practices into academic work so that students can develop self-knowledge, resilience, critical awareness, and positive social engagement.

This experiential approach complements a rigorous interdisciplinary academic investigation and discussion of contemplative practices in the sciences, humanities, and arts.
