Cinema and Television Studies
Explore the art, technology, and social power of the moving image.
Art. History. Politics. Entertainment. Revolution.
The moving image has an incredible power to shape thoughts, ideas, and culture—to move people.
Our program stands out with its international and inclusive curriculum, which views film and television not just as art forms but as industries that have significantly influenced the modern world.
What’s more, our critical discipline is actively involved in driving social change today. This unique approach is reflected in our intensive study of the art of film and television through a diverse range of courses in history, aesthetics, and cultural critique.
We structure the program carefully to prepare students for the demands of the culminating Senior Project by developing their writing, analytical, and research skills.
