Whether you are just starting the college search process or you have been offered admission to the college, there are a variety of visit options to suit your needs. Please explore all of the options described below to select the one that is right for you.
Frequently called a "city within the country," Purchase College sits on a spacious 500-plus acre estate in Westchester County, 10 minutes from downtown White Plains and just 30 miles north of Manhattan. With almost all the buildings centered within a great open space, Purchase College provides students with a vibrant and welcoming environment where they can study, collaborate, and create.

SUMMER Tours and Information Sessions
Summer tours will be offered from June 9th - August 14th, most Mondays-Thursdays, at 10:00am and 1:00pm daily. Please register in advance.

Information Sessions (Fall & Spring Semesters Only) Fall 2014 Registration Open!
General campus tours and information sessions will run on Mondays at 10:00am, Fridays at 10:00am and 2:00pm and select Saturdays at 10:00am and 1:00pm throughout the semester. *If you are interested in any Natural Science programs please include that in your visit request*
Conducted by an admissions representative, this 50 minute session is designed to provide prospective students and their families with an overview of our academic programs, admissions requirements and application process. A general campus tour immediately follows each information session during the academic year.

VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS TOURS
VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS VISIT (Fall and Spring Semesters Only)
Available on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM during the academic year, the presentation and tours are designed specifically for students interested in the Conservatory of Music, Conservatory of Theatre Arts, the School of Film and Media Studies, and the School of Art+Design.
This three part day includes:
- A tour of our Residence Hall, Dining Facilities, and Library at 10 AM.
- An Admissions Information Session at 11 AM.
- A tour of the Visual and/or Performing Art facilities of your interest at 12:15/12:30 PM.

-School of Art+Design Information and Q&A Session with the Director at 10:30am
PORTFOLIO REVIEWS run from 12 NOON to 4pm. As is the case with all National Portfolio Days, reviews are granted on a first come, first served basis.

TRANSFER & LIBERAL STUDIES INFORMATION SESSIONS
Learn all about transferring into one of our 30+ traditional Liberal Arts and Science majors as well as opportunities to complete your degree within our Liberal Studies Program. Designed for transfer students who need flexibility, convenience and maximization of credits, the Liberal Studies program will enrich your understanding of the Liberal Arts while providing you with the tools to meet everyday work and life challenges. Liberal Studies is the only program that offer students the opportunity for full-time, part-time, evening, weekend, and online study.
Join us for an informal, personal session to learn about these programs, admission process and flexible course schedules. Information on credit-bearing professional certificate programs as well as alternative ways to earn credit will be discussed.

CONSERVATORY OF DANCE VISITS
CONSERVATORY OF DANCE VISITS (Fall and Spring Semester Only)
Students interested in studying Dance, don't miss this opportunity! Offered on select Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the academic year, the visit affords students the opportunity to tour the dance building, observe a dance class and participate in an abbreviated campus tour including a tour of the residence halls.

IMMEDIATE DECISION DAYS
Immediate Decision Day
Immediate Decision Day is an opportunity for qualified Liberal Arts & Sciences applicants to participate in a quick, simple, and personalized admissions process. See a list of Liberal Arts & Science majors (BA programs) available at Purchase College. This day is recommended for students for whom Purchase College is a top choice.
Immediate Decision Day will take place on December 6, 2014. More information coming soon!
SCHOOL GROUP VISITS
SCHOOL GROUP VISITS (Fall and Spring Semesters only)
Designed for groups of 10 or more, these visits are for high school students representing an educational institution or a community agency. Group Visits generally consist of a presentation by an Admissions Advisor and a guided tour of campus.
Applications from all groups are welcome, however, priority is given to Community Based Organizations. For information regarding visiting please visit the Campus Visit page.
Purchase College does not offer evaluative interviews for admissions except for select programs in the Visual and Performing Arts. These interviews occur during the application process by invitation only.
However, if you are interested in speaking with an admissions counselor you can arrange an informative interview. These interviews must be made in advance on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. by calling the Office of Admissions at 914-251-6300.
The lack of an interview will not have an adverse impact on your admissions decision.
