Step 1: Submit your completed application

Step 2: Request official transcripts (in envelopes sealed by the registrar) from all undergraduate schools attended
*Students with under 30 credits must request for official high school transcripts, SAT/ACT and/or GED scores.

Step 3: Send your visual art portfolio in slide or digital format, the Supplemental Form and Essay, and two letters of recommendation (one artistic and one academic) to the Office of Admissions (See address above).
a) Portfolio of your artwork: Submit your portfolio in slide or digital format by mail (see guidelines below).
Portfolio Guidelines
Your portfolio shall consist of no less than twelve (12) or more than twenty (20) examples of your work. Slides (digital or 35mm) must be labeled with your name, title of work, size, date of work, and include a sheet with a short description of each work.

b) Supplemental Form and Essay
Submit the Supplemental Form and write a 200-word essay on any topic, in any format of your choice (i.e. artist’s statement, brief narrative, or non-narrative composition). Please note: If you are applying to Liberal Arts and Sciences as well as the

Two letters:
One letter should address your academic achievements and potential.
The other should speak of your visual and artistic accomplishments and goals.
For non-traditional age applicants, letters from employers are satisfactory.
Although it is not a required part of the application process, portfolio reviews are highly recommended as it allows prospective students to receive direct feedback about their portfolio from a faculty member.
