When the owner of a Missouri cheese factory dies, the plant’s bookkeeper (and star of the local community theater) suspects foul play in Book of Days. But the investigation tears the town apart and exposes truths no one wants to face. More than a murder mystery, this 1999 play explores religion, politics, business and theatre in America.
